Blakley Leonard Singer – Songwriter

Blakley Leonard is a singer/songwriter from Abingdon, Virginia with a unique acoustic style. He is currently accompanied by Zandi Watts from Monroe, NC. Both currently attend Catawba College in NC.
Blakley began his music career back in 2005 with his former band While Cities Sleep.
In 2007, he left the band to pursue his future as a solo artist. He placed second in the National online Battle of the Bands Competition last year, and in January performed fan favorites live on the radio including, “Wait for Morning” and “Closer Now”.
Blakley has performed at Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Folk Festival for the past two years as
well as locally and for special occasions. Blakley is currently working on new songs and is recording a new demo which will be available later this year. With a blend of acoustic, folk, and indie styles comes a unique sound that is a must hear.
