The week before Homecoming is a week filled with events each night in preparation of the weekend’s major events. On Tuesday, September 29, 2009 the event was “Are You Smarter Than A Senior.”

A take on the hit televistion show “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader,” Dr. Freeze took the role of Jeff Foxworthy as host with a panel of senior students Jordan-Leigh Davis, Aly Halter, Phillip Tyler Russ, Katie Hill, Kevin Flebbe, Andrew Tamer, and John Gurski as the life-line and help for the lucky students whose tickets were called forward. The students were gien a question from just about any topic.

If they don’t know the answer they could call on their panel of seniors for help, they could “copy” and take the senior’s answers, “peek” where they could just see what the senior would say then make the decision, or “drop out” which would mean the student could not find out the answer and claim not to be smart enough.

If they do not know the answer or get it wrong, they had to say, “I am NOT smarter than a Senior.”
