…and without one eyelash out of place.
The Catawba College Theatre Arts Department present Clare Boothe Luce’s tale of socialite women opens on September 30 and runs until October 3. Directed by Dayna Anderson, this all-female cast shows all sides of very prim and proper women, and believe me, it’s not all very pretty! Set in Manhattan in the 1930’s, this select group of women discuss all facets of life, adultery, backstabbing, and power, all without a single man stepping foot on stage.
The Cast includes Carmen Bartlett (SR), Cassie Bell (JR), Kat Campagna (SP), Carrie Foster (JR), Megan Fields (SP), Katie Haeuser (JR), Carrie Harris (JR), Amber Hughes (SR), Sarah LeJeune (SP), Shanna Locklair (JR), Amber McCleerey (JR), Meghan McLaughlin (SR), Rachel Mehaffey (JR), Mary Alice Nichols (JR), Annabelle Prince (SP), Katherine Tierney (JR), and Eleanor Withrow (SR).
The Show starts at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29. It is offered again at 6:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, and thereafter at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 1-3. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and non-Catawba students. Group discounts are available. For more details, contact the Catawba College theatre box office at 704-637-4481, or buy your tickets online at http://www.showtix4u.com. Seating will be limited during the Homecoming weekend; therefore it is suggested that reservations be made as early as possible.
