Catawba College Theatre Department Presents “Working” A Musical About Working People

Have you ever been at work and thought, man this moment should be in a musical?

Well, that’s what “Working” By Studs Terkel, Adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso is all about.

A musical about the working class, with characters like waitresses, secretaries, bikers, old men, families, and couples.

The show begins tonight in Hedrick Little Theatre; April 13 & 14 at 6:55 p.m.; April 15-17, 7:30 p.m.

Co-Directed by Beth Homan and student Carrie Foster, with Assistant director Maggie Truxell, musical director Catawba alum John Stafford, Mara Stewart and Adam Stolzenberg, assistant stage managers; Carrie Harris , costume designer; Amanda Lederer, assistant lighting designer; Vaughn Pollman, master electrician; and Chris Herring, props master.

The Cast Include Cassie Bell (JR); Shanna Locklair (JR), Matt Patrick (SR), Eleanor Withrow (JR), Zach Roe (JR), Chris Clowers (JR), Dustin Sullivan (JR), Quinn McRae (SP), Kara Procell (FR), Mary Alice Nichols (JR), Canaan Cox (SP), Leana Guzman (FR), Sara Coon (FR), Christine Plough (JR), Michael Innis (JR), and Ryan Glidewell (JR).
