Salisbury’s annual Christmas parade brought in the holiday spirit on Wednesday, November 25th. The sidewalks and driveways down Main Street were filled with people from Spencer all the way through Salisbury.
The weather was beautiful and everyone brought their lawnchairs, blankets, and snacks to sit back and enjoy this traditional community event. Schools from all over Rowan County and even Ashe County participated in this event as well as numerous county and city representatives. Churches, hospitals, and all kinds of organizations put a lot of hard work into floats that paraded down Main Street sharing greetings with all of Salisbury.

The waves, Merry Christmases, and Happy Holidays that were shared between the parade participants and the spectators, as well as the presence of Santa Claus himself at the end of the procession definitely reminded everyone that Christmas will be here before we know it.
