Men’s Soccer Edged Out In Final Minutes

Men’s soccer fell to Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday, October 7th in the final minutes of the game with a score of 2-3. Lenoir-Rhyne scored first during the first half of the game, but the goal was not left unanswered.Catawba’s Andrew Landry shot back with a goal. Soon after, Lenoir-Rhyne got on the board again with a second goal in the first half. Andrew Landry answered the goal with just a minute left in the first half, leaving the score tied 2-2 at half time. With just 3 minutes to go in the second half, Lenoir-Rhyne made their third goal to edge out Catawba. Keeper Tyler Held made 10 saves in the game. The men will face Carson-Newman at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 9th at home. Come out and support the Men’s Soccer Team.
