It was an experince i will never forget. My prayer is that every person took somthing away from the experience of seeing the monologues. I hope that Catawba takes on the Vagina Monologues next year and the year after because it tells an important message that needs to be heard, whether you are male or female. I had been dying to see this show for a number of years and it was wonderful to be able to see it right here. The cast was fabulous. The show was thought-provoking; it made me laugh and it made me cry. I truly appreciated how our donations went to help mainly local women but also a portion went to help women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. As a senior, it still never fails to amaze me how much talent we have on our campus. I cannot think of any production that has ever been less than outstanding, however, the Vagina Monologues will always be one of my favorites. The Vagina Monologues were excellent. The stories I heard were humorous, entertaining, and sometimes hard to take, but I think it is important that they were heard. Women need to be open about themselves and embrace an understanding of their bodies and how they feel about themselves. This was a great show and everyone did an amazing job.
