Ok, so hear me out all you movie buffs out there! 2010 is set to be a very good year for movies (let’s hope!).
Here are a few upcoming movies I cannot wait to see.
(I’m calling this The Year Of The Sequels And Other Media Adaptations!)
February:
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

(From the best selling series about Greek gods and their modern day heirs. I’m so excited about a new twist on an old story!)
- Leonardo DiCaprio in Shutter Island

(Leo had me at Titanic… And this time, it’s not so predictable.)
MARCH:
- Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland

(Talk about twisted! But if it has Johnny’s name in it, you can count me in!)
- How to Train Your Dragon

(I’m still a kid at heart… and this show looks ADORABLE!)
- John Cusack in The Hot Tub Machine

(John Cusack with a star filled cast that find a way to turn back the clock…)
- Gerard Butler and Jennifer Anniston in The Bounty Hunter

(My one real “chick-flick” of the year – it better be good!)
April:
- Nightmare on Elm Street

(Freddie’s back… and I’ll be waiting.)
May:
- Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 2

(The sequel to its summer blockbuster predecessor… let’s get some more RDJ!)
June:
- Toy Story 3

(I can honestly say I’m pretty excited about this. We grew up with the other two… and it’s about time!)
July:
- M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender

(Probably my most looked forward to show of the year. I watched the cartoons when they were on, and far from being childish, that show was great… I hope Mr. Shyamalan will do it justice!)
November:
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1

(Alright, Harry Potter fans… we’re coming to the home stretch! With part one on, it’s way and part two right behind it… let’s all put on our wizards caps and get our wands ready!)
December:
- “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”

(Again another sequel, but still very much anticipated. Let’s see how our kids get through this adventure.)
So, there’s my picks for this year’s movies.
Tell me what you think. Do you agree? Disagree? think of others that should have been added? TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT!!!!
