Hunger for Success

Many people approach studying many different ways. Personally, I take a composite of all my notes and create one big sheet of paper full of information, then strictly study that and Catawba student, Lindsay King says she does the same thing.

Here are some other techniques that have been suggested from students here at Catawba. One student, who is a junior here, says “I try to study a few days in advance, but typically all my tests fall on the same week so I end up cramming.”

Other students suggest note card’s, as those are a great tool to use as a drill. “Study old test’s,” states Aaron Hartsell. Drilling is a favorite of some education students along with carefully reading the material over and over again. These are just a few tools that may help you when preparing for your first, second, third, or even last year of college exam week.

No matter the way in which you study, find what works best for you. If you still haven’t found that, try a combination of some suggested ways. Finding what suits you is important. Finally best of luck on your exams this semester and many more, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
