On Saturday afternoon, November 14th, it was Senior Day at Shuford Stadium for the Catawba Football Team. 12 seniors are graduating from the team. The Indians took on the Lenior-Rhyne Bears.

The Indians defeated the Bears 28-14, and claimed the 2015 South Atlantic Conference Championship title. Catawba’s record is currently 9-2 and they have won 7 games in a row, the longest winning streak since 2007. Coincidentally, 2007 was the same year that they were in the playoffs last.

They will enter the NCAA II playoffs this upcoming week against Tuskegee, a football team from Alabama. Tuskegee has an 8-2 record.

Admission for students, faculty, and staff will be $5 this upcoming Saturday. There is great news though. This Thursday, from 11 to 1 pm in the Student Center, students can redeem one free ticket to the game. So come out and get your tickets so you will not have to pay to get in this Saturday.
