The Carolina Renaissance Festival is fun for families and all ages! The Festival began on the weekend of October fourth and ended last weeked. There were all different kinds of activities going on throughout the day from jousts, camel riding, petting zoos, singing, or going in the gift shops all set up like the medieval times. Also there was a great variety of foods like turkey legs, soup in bread bowls, fish and chips, and candied pecans. This event always has something for everyone no matter the age. So don’t miss it next year when it comes around! The festival will again be located on 16445 Poplar Tent Road, Huntersville, NC 28078 and parking is free. So don’t forget to come out with the whole family dressed in your best fairy, peasant, knight, or princess costume to have a day filled with family fun and make memories that you will never forget next year!
