On March 3rd, 2015 Jared Padalecki, a star on The CW’s hit show Supernatural, launched his first design for his new “Always Keep Fighting” campaign on Represent.com.  Padalecki teamed up with several charities, including To Write Love On Her Arms, for this campaign in an effort to get people talking about issues such as suicide, depression, addiction, and other mental illnesses.

Padalecki says he chose these charities to support because he has lost several friends due to suicide and because he too has suffered with depression.  The Supernatural star has said that he wants to destigmatize these mental illnesses so that more people will feel like they can go get help.

During Padalecki’s first campaign, around 46,000 shirts were sold.  Shirts started at $21.99 which means that a minimum of $1,011,540 was raised during this campaign.  On April 16th, Jared Padalecki, along with co-star Jensen Ackles, announced that they would be starting round two of the “Always Keep Fighting” campaign.  Some of the proceeds “Moose and Squirrel” raise from this campaign will be going to charities as well.  With only a couple days left on their second campaign, over 35,000 adult shirts, 1,800 phone cases, and 140 children’s shirts have been sold to raise money for these good causes.
